Flip the bird with ALTER EGO at Hooligan's I-35 Sat., Nov. 26

Had it with turkey? After the turkey sandwiches, turkey stew, turkey loaf, turkey tacos, and chicken fried turkey, do you just want to make it STOP and eat something different, along with enjoying some great music?

Then shake off your turkey-induced stupor and head over to HOOLIGAN'S at 13920 I-35 North, right next to the Live Oak Cinema, off Loop 1604 and Pat Booker Road and let ALTER EGO rock your socks off on Saturday, Nov. 26, beginning at 9:30 p.m.

One of our favorite places to play, Hooligan's has a great atmosphere, very friendly staff and VERY tasty food (no turkey, we promise!). And there is NEVER a cover charge at Hooligan's, so you have more money for cold, frosty adult beverages!ALTER EGO has a ton of gigs coming up in Decemberl, including Tripp's, the Roxy, the Trap, both Hooligan's location, Main Street and Boozehounds. In case you're looking for what to do on New Year's Eve, we'll be back at the I-35 Hooligan's to help you rock in the New Year!

Keep up to date by checking out the website at www.thebandalterego.com. YOU are the ones helping us get these great gigs, because YOU are supporting the band week after week! We could not do what we do without you, so thank you all so much on behalf of myself, Tony, Paul and Bruce ... see you out there!

ALTER EGO at Tripp's Fri Nov 11 & at Hooligans I-10 Sat Nov 12

After a great weekend at two new clubs (Q Bar & WiseGuys), ALTER EGO is back to a couple of familiar places this weekend! Both of the new gigs went very well, and we'll be adding both clubs to our rotation in the near future.

On FRIDAY, NOV. 11, we're up on the Northeast Side at TRIPP'S, 210 E. AVIATION, just off of Pat Booker Road in Universal City. You know, Tripp's ain't the fanciest place in town, but they sure are a friendly bunch, have great drinks and know how to take care of their customers and bands. That is why we look forward to playing there, and it has been a regular stop for us every month seen this band has been together!

On SATURDAY, NOV. 12, we're back at HOOLIGAN'S over at 10855 I-10 NORTH. If your're not sure where that is, it's right next to Ancira Nissan on the north side access road between Wurzbach and Huebner. This place is very nice, with plenty of room, a great staff and really really good food!

Next week, we have a rare weekend off, so we'll finally be getting together to learn some new tunes and hone some of the ones we haven't played in a while. Any suggestions for new tunes? Let me know! After all, YOU'RE the listeners!

ALTER EGO at Q Bar Friday Nov. 4 & Wise Guys Saturday Nov. 5

Greetings to all our ALTER EGO-maniacs!
With it getting dark earlier and the evenings cooling off, the schedule for ALTER EGO is really heating up! We're booked solid through the end of the year, and are finalizing details for a New Year's Eve gig.
On FRIDAY, NOV. 4, beginning at 9:30 P.M., we'll be at the Q BAR, 7710 I-10, on the south access road, located in the old Mama's Restaurant building, next to Northwest 14 theaters and the Spectrum Health Club. If you remember the old Mama's, then this is an even better version! We're really looking forward to playing this cool club for the first time, and adding it to our rotation!
On SATURDAY, NOV. 5, we're at another new club, WISE GUYS, located at 502 EMBASSY OAKS, just off Hwy 281 and Bitters. We've heard a lot of good things about this place and hope our friends and extended family will be able to join us for a night of your favorite rock covers!
Like I said, ALTER EGO is all over the place over the next few months, and we're hoping to finalize the details on a New Year's Eve gig, so as soon as we know, it'll get posted on our website at www.thebandalterego.com.
We've been very fortunate this year to get a lot of really great gigs, and it's really thanks to you, our friends, fans and family, for supporting us throughout the community, and mentioning our name at clubs throughout the city.
We'd also like to thank Debbie Murphy of Spectrum Talent for believing in us and working so hard to get us so many great bookings, as she does for dozens of bands in San Antonio.
So on behalf of Tony, Paul, Bruce and myself, thank you for supporting ALTER EGO and the San Antonio music scene!
