ALTER EGO slams the Northeast Side

After a phenomenal jam-packed show at Roxy’s last week, ALTER EGO heads back up to the Northeast side of town for a pair of gigs at two very cool locations.

First off, THANK YOU for all our friends who came out for the first Friday of the year at Roxy’s. Special thanks to our fellow musicians Wongo and Amanda from Prototype and the lead singer from Roadtrip for hanging out and supporting the scene! There’s a reason Roxy’s is a great place for bands to play, and it’s because they CARE about their bands and their customers! They don’t go for the trend of the week, they just provide a great place to hang out, drink some adult beverages, and listen to music!

Coming up on FRIDAY, JAN. 13, we’ll be at TRIPP’S HUMOUR BAR at 210 E. AVIATION, just off Pat Booker Road. Always lots of friendly faces at this comfortable place on the NE Side, and always a favorite destination.

On SATURDAY, JAN. 14, we head back to HOOLIGAN’S, over at 13920 I-35N (right next to the Live Oak Cinema, just off Loop 1604 and Pat Booker). What else can I say about Hooligan’s other than this place ROCKS! Great food, great staff, great drinks and a good time had by all.In other news, thanks to Pace Concerts, we just got booked to play at the SBC CENTER (now called the AT&T CENTER) from 5:30-7 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, JAN. 25, on the patio prior to the AEROSMITH/LENNY KRAVITZ show. This event is in conjunction with KZEP Radio, so if you’re heading down a bit early for the show, come on by and hang out for a while! Add this to the rodeo on Feb. 9 and Oyster Bake Apr. 22, and we have truly been very fortunate so far, and it thanks to all of you for supporting ALTER EGO! Thanks to everyone on the San Antonio music scene and see ya out there soon!
